In Memory Of Drew….

Gosh this is going to be a very hard blog for me to do this week – I am dedicating it to a complete LEGEND “Mr Drew Wheddon”.

The early hours of Tuesday morning one of my colleagues at Cruise.co.uk, Drew Wheddon, sadly passed away. Drew had been diagnosed with Sarcoma Cancer back in October 2011 and had been fighting a very long and hard battle with this awful disease. He was just 30yrs old – full of spirit and determination. A gentle giant who had so much to live for; such a sad, sad loss to us all and especially to his family – words can never explain!

Drew had setup his own charity called Ulegendto support and increase awareness of Sarcoma cancer.

What is it ????

It is a highly malignant and rare type of cancer that arises in the connective tissues in the body. Whilst this is rare among adults (less than 2% of all adult cancers), sarcoma is one of the top five most commonly diagnosed cancers among children.

All of Drew’s very good friends that worked with him at Cruise.co.uk have signed up to run the Birmingham Half Marathon on the 22nd October 2012 to help fund his cause and help raise awareness for Sarcoma UK; they have all been training very hard and are determined to make sure they can raise as much money as possible for this very worthy cause!!
All I am asking for is YOUR help to make a difference. If you would like to make a donation please click on this link below, no matter how small this is it will help.

My heart and thoughts go out to his beautiful wife, his family and friends.
