Summer 2020 is about to become even bigger for Tour operator Tui. This week they have released information about the new River cruises they are going to be offering for summer 2020
Tui have introduced to the brand 3 river ships that can hold up to 155 passengers. The planned names for the new ships are Tui Maya, Tui Isla and Tui Skyla.
The sailings will be 7 night duration’s and will be sailing along the wonderful Danube, Rhine, Main and Moselle. All of the River ships will be adults only and will be on sale to the UK market only to begin with as they have plans for more ships in the future.
Every guest on board will receive a £120 credit to use towards excursions including bike tours and sightseeing tours and also cookery classes. The prices for 7 nights will start from only £1099 per person and include your gratuities. Information regarding drinks packages is yet to be released.
Facilities on board will include three restaurants. The main dining room, a lighter dining area and an al fresco BBQ restaurant.
Each ship will have a lovely outdoor area where you can relax and unwind during the day and then later in the evening this will be transformed into an evening venue which will offer light entertainment for passengers on board.
The ships will also have a small spa area and whirlpool.
Cabins will be available on board and you can choose from standard, superior and suites on all 3 ships. Suites will have a private balcony. The ships will also have a few single cabins.
I have not personally been on a river cruise and this has got me thinking that maybe I should book myself on one for next year. What are your thoughts? Have you done any river cruises? I would love to hear about your experiences.
