NCL CHANGING THE WAY YOU CRUISE…AGAIN

This week we have been advised that Norwegian Cruise Lines have changed the way they cruise.  They are no longer promoting the cruises as being all inclusive with drinks and gratuities included but now offering customers the chance to upgrade from only £99 per person and receive the Free at Sea promotion.  This will be applicable to bookings made from 2nd April 2019

So once you have found the right cruise with NCL you will now be offered the chance to select 2 offers for your sailing.  All cabin grades are included in the Free at Sea offer

The Free at Sea package will allow you to select 2 off the following offers from only £99 per person based on a 7 night sailing

Premium Beverage Package
With alcoholic and non-alcoholic branded drinks served in all bars, lounges and restaurants worth up to $99 per person per day

Speciality Dining Package
3 x dining opportunities in selected speciality restaurants based on a 7/8 night cruise worth $89 per person
4 x dining opportunities in selected speciality restaurants based on a 9/10 night cruise worth $104 per person
5 x dining opportunities in selected speciality restaurants based on a 11 nights or more worth $119 per person

WiFi Package
Up to 125 minutes WiFi per person.

Shore Excursion Package
$50 shore excursion credit per stateroom per port of call.

Family and Friends Offer
Guests three and four in the stateroom pay only the applicable tax for their cruise on selected sailings

For me personally this is a great change, I have always been put off NCL cruise line purely because they have been All Inclusive and the prices have been reflecting this.  My family and I personally do not drink any alcoholic Beverages and felt I would be paying too much for something I am not really going to make use of.   I like to just have tea and coffee and a few soft drinks here and there.. Now this Free at Sea offer does appeal to me, I like nice food so I would be tempted with the speciality dining options and the shore excursion credit to visit some wonderful  places.

Let me know you thoughts, do you think this is a good thing for NCL?

Till next time
