All systems go for MSC!
The cruise line has just announced that they are to make a comeback to Southampton. Long overdue in my opinion, others may disagree but I am a firm believer in value for money and I think that’s exactly what you get with MSC! The cruise line has always received mixed reviews, mainly due to its European influence on board but if your open minded, you’ll have a great time! I will be one of the first looking for my 2018 cruise when the itineraries are released!
I think MSC offer very reasonable prices compared to many other cruise lines, yes they are not in the same league as Celebrity or even P&O but if you want that standard you’re going to have to pay for Celebrity or P&O I’m afraid! The inclusive drinks package is just superb value at just £20pp per day and that even includes ice cream – great for those on a budget and probably the cheapest all-inclusive drinks package at sea!
The Magnifica will offer 25 sailings out of Southampton in 2018 offering 7.11.12.and 13 night cruises to destinations such as Le Havre, La Coruna, Leixoes, Lisbon, Malaga, Amsterdam and Hamburg as well as Northern Europe. I believe that this is a very wise move for MSC. As the cruise industry continues to grow, they will be filling a gap in the UK market, where people who have never cruised before but really want to and maybe can’t afford the bigger lines have a chance to experience a cruise for a great price!
The cruise line also announced their first ever world cruise with Magnifica where guests will travel for 119 days to 49 unique destinations across the world in January 2019> they are really upping their game at the moment and I’m sure it won’t stop here!
So what are your thoughts on MSC’s exciting news?
