An exciting new announcement from TUI

Hi there, I was surprised to read that TUI has just announced they will be launching themselves into the River Cruise Market.

They will have three ships in Summer 2020. The brand will be known under TUI and their Ocean cruises will still be known as Marella. The River Cruises will be adult only and like the Marella Cruises, they will include tips.

Marella Cruises are such fantastic value for money and also now offer some fabulous different itineraries, flying from many local airports and are All Inclusive, the ships are newer and are getting great reviews. Going by the rising popularity of the Marella Brand I can see the TUI River cruises becoming a favourite with River cruise fans and people converting to River cruising for the first time.

So the River ships will be going on sale on the 25th of April 2019 with lead in fares of £1099pp for a seven-night sailing. There will be 19 itineraries featured with the cruises being offered as Full Board and of course, under this brand, you will have the chance to upgrade to a drinks package.

Another bonus is every guest receives a £120 excursion credit voucher per 7 days, Tui offers great excursions and I am guessing the River cruise options will be of equal standard.

The three ships will be refitted ships moving over to the TUI brand and named TUI Maya, TUI Isla and TUI Skyla. The plans of the vessels after the refits look really impressive and I personally cannot wait to see how things go for this ever increasing and impressive value for money brand.
