What’s New For 2018 Part 2

So last time I told you about the new additions launching at the beginning of 2018. What’s next can they be topped? Well here is what else will launch in 2018.

Next up its Msc newest addition Msc Seaview her maiden voyage is in June. She will homeport in Barcelona and Civitavecchia. Carrying over 4000 passengers and sister ship to the Seaside. Its been built to sail in warmer climates with extra wide Promenades offering outdoor eating areas, lounge areas and even an outdoor gym. Boasting two of longest zip lines at sea. She will feature an aqua park with four waterslides to keep the kids and kids at heart entertained. She will have 11 places to eat including an upscale seafood restaurant. Next up is Viking Orion another addition to their ocean cruises. Holding just over 900 passengers she will launch in June. Orion will have a modern Scandinavian look with cabins been larger than the normal cruise ship cabins. She will be an all balcony ship. Orion will feature itineraries that spend more time in port.

The end of the year will see the latest addition to Holland America Line is Nieuw Statendam she will sail out of Fort Lauderdale, hold 2,666 passengers. She will be more contemporary than the earlier ships from this cruise line. In the heart, of the ship she will have a 3-storey atrium with a capped ceiling offering high definition projections that change from day to night. She will have cabins that sleep up to 5 and also single interior and ocean view cabins.

Finally, Celebrity’s Edge launching in December the first new ship for celebrity in six years and will boast an innovative new design. The magic carpet a 90-ton platform that will move up and down the side of the ship where it will be a tender boarding platform then it will be used as a 90 seater alternative restaurant. She will have a rooftop garden a place to unwind dance the night away, catch a movie or stargaze. Her cabins now they range all the way up to iconic suite’s 1892 square feet offering panoramic views.
