River Danube Here I Come…

Well, the week has arrived that I’m going on a river cruise familiarisation trip. What a fantastic job  I have working for cruise.co.uk I’ve been lucky enough to be chosen to go on this amazing trip courtesy of Avalon Waterways and as I haven’t experienced a river cruise I cannot wait. 

I have one night in Budapest staying at the Intercontinental  Budapest, then will be joining Avalon Impression for a 7-night cruise along the Danube on Monday. I’m very fortunate to have a fantastic Panorama suite on Royal deck with floor to ceiling Panoramic windows for an amazing view.  The ship looks amazing.

The itinerary I’m doing is the “Active Discovery Danube” with an amazing choice of excursions for the active and not so active. It includes everything from hiking canoeing and cycling. So I’m hoping with all this exercise I can indulge in some of those deserts on board.

I have two days left to work then I need to pack and get ready for this amazing adventure.  I have never done a river cruise before so cannot wait to experience it and what better way than on a beautiful Danube cruise with Avalon.
