Dining options on the Royal Princess

Whilst on board the Royal Princess we were lucky to have dinner on night in the specialty restaurant Crown Grill. For those of you who read my blogs will know whenever i sail on Princess I always dine in the Crown Grill and you can read my previous blog here

So this time I wanted to tell you about the other dining options on board. There is 3 main dining rooms on board which are the Symphony, Concerto and the Allegro (which is where the chefs table is) and they are all open for waiter service evening meal. One of the restaurants will be open for waiter service breakfast, and on a sea day one of them will open for waiter service lunch – times will be published in the Princess Patter.

There is a buffet restaurant call the Horizon Court which is open normally from 6am to 11pm and serves an array of dishes from Mexican Fajitas and tacos, to a Chinese stir fry, English fish and chips or if you would prefer something lighter there is sandwiches, soup and salads.

The international cafe on deck 5 serves different pastries, salads, quiches and sandwiches, This venue is complimentary and is open 24 hours, however the coffee shop next door you do pay for unless you have the drinks package.

Sabatinis is the other specialty restaurant on board and is an Italian restaurant with signature pasta dishes and all Italian wine list.

Other venues include Alfredo’s pizzeria, Ocean seafood bar, Vines which is the wine bar serving tapas, Gelato which is the ice-cream venue which you pay for, as well as out on deck the Pizzeria and the burger and hot dog grill, and a soft scoop ice-cream which is mainly complimentary out by the pool.

You will never go hungry whilst sailing on Princess and such a great choice of venues all using fresh ingredients and produce.

I am now off on my honeymoon later this week so will be out of the office now for a couple of weeks, I will try to post pictures of my adventure wherever we have wi-fi,

Have a great couple of weeks

Kerry
