My turn to cruise………………………………

Tomorrow I am lucky enough to be joining the Royal Princess in Edinburgh, I have 3 nights on board calling at Le Havre and disembarking in Southampton on Sunday.

I am a Princess virgin so I am really excited to see what Princess is all about. There are 60  Travel Agents on this sector of the British Isles cruise that has already visited Guernsey, Cork, Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow and Invergordon. Looks like the hot weather has disappeared but not to worry!

Several colleagues were on the earlier sectors and they all said what an amazing time they had, seen some fab pictures of the amazing food in the Crown Grill and mouth water cocktails! Not to mention the Movies under the Stars, Musical Productions and the Water & light show.

The Seawalk is a unique feature on Royal Princess, 60 feet long, cantilevered 128 feet above the waves and extending 28 feet beyond the edge of the ship!

Also got a feeling my diet will be going off track with all the amazing restaurants to choose from, especially the award winning Curtis Stone cuisine crafted selection and the hand crafted treats exclusively for Princess’ Chocolate Journeys created by master chocolatier Norman Love.

I am a huge seafood fan so the Crab Shack for me is a must, its a bistro option housed within the Horizon Court buffet offering clam chowder and a mixed steamer pot filled with snow crab, jumbo shrimp, clams and mussels.

We are being really looked after and have been allocated a balcony stateroom with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors, I am sure we will be enjoying the odd cocktail while taking in the lovely ocean views.

So my rail ticket is booked, got my suitcase packed lets see what the Royal Princess has to offer this week, will do an update on my next blog, Bon Voyage!
