I have watched in awe the pandas being placed on board Ovation of the Sea, and I want one.
They look so realistic and soooo cute. The Giant Panda and Cub is to bring awareness to Royal Caribbean partnership with the WWF. Ovation can carry 4,180 passengers and features all the usual Quantum class facilities, North Star, sky diving , top of the line West end theatre shows, robotic bars and flow riders, to name a few. The Floor-to-ceiling windows in the multi-deck space Two70 can be transformed into huge Vistarama screens more than 100ft wide and 20ft tall to create an ever-changing backdrop for performers. I saw this on Anthem and it is spectacular.
I think that as the Ovation is to cover the Far East it was an ingenious idea to use the Panda instead of the Giraffe , or Polar Bear seen on the other quantum class ships.
I was extremely envious of my colleagues who got to go to the launch and see this magnificent ship sail into Southampton . See there adventure on our site. and check out our fabulous tailor made package to see the beautiful Pandas in their natural habitat.
