If you are a cruise Virgin , like so many of the people I have spoken to before, I thought I may be able to help.
There are so many cruise out there to choose from , where do I start is quite often is the 1st question I get asked. Firstly lets concentrate on where, not what on ! Its all about the Itinerary. All the cruise ships are wonderful, but its all about were you want to visit.
With so many places to visit the list is endless. But for a first timer maybe I would start small. My first real cruise with my husband was to Northern Spain , France and Guernsey, there is also the Fjords , or a round trip to Amsterdam, Bruges etc, depending on how long you want to be on board.
There are some fantastic prices for 3,4,5,6, and 7 night cruises from Southampton (no flights) to the places I have mentioned. I call them tester cruises.
If you fancy further afield, the ships now dock at over 1000 ports around the world, there must be something you have always wanted to see, but didn’t know how to get there and with the tours available you can make the most of every destination.
We have a Taylormade department that has some fantastic Itinerary’s : http://www.cruise.co.uk/tailor-made-cruises/?affref=josephinew
Check out our Bucket list tours for example if you are stuck for ideas , there are one or two definitely on my bucket list !!! Imagine seeing Victoria falls and the big game animals all in one holiday, Wow doesn’t even come close.

So many extraordinary and amazing sights to see. Of course on a cruise you can do a few at a time without having to unpack 10 times !
So with all of the ports available and so many different Ships to see them on , you may be stuck for choice, try small first get a feel for cruising and you will never look back. You wont be a cruise ‘VIRGIN’ for long.
Next time which ship !
