Jo's Cruise Jollies

Let me solve your currency issues.

Cruising is a wonderful way to travel and to see many different countries in the one holiday, however this can cause issues with what currency to take and guessing how much you are going to need for each destination.

I can help you with that though, with the Escape Travel Card. This is a handy little currency card that is quick, easy and safe to use. The modern day equivalent of Travellers Cheques it offers full security should anything go wrong.

The card is a prepay card which you load with sterling and can then spend in any country. You can use it for payments at shops, bars, restaurants etc or in cash machines to withdraw local currency. The exchange rates are competitive and viewable daily on their website. You can also use the card in the UK, so should you have any holiday money left over you do not have to go to the bother of changing it back and losing money on exchange rates. You can just use it to pay for your groceries, petrol or whatever you’d like.

In terms of security you can purchase a second card either in your name or a companion’s. That way if you lose one card whilst on holiday you can cancel it and still have the second one available for purchases. This is far better than losing a credit or debit card and being stuck without money on holiday.

You can also put a temporary block on a card, so if you think you have lost it you can prevent transactions and then reinstate it when you find it at the bottom of your beach bag.

All in all it offers a more secure and easier option than carrying cash or using a standard credit card.

Anyone can apply for a Escape Travel Card and you are not credit checked, it is quick and simple to apply for one. And as long as you load your card with £100 spending money  within 30 days of receiving your card your £10 fee is refunded so is doesn’t even cost you to have one.
