Why The Caribbean?

Its no wonder that the Caribbean is the worlds most popular cruise destination, I have recently returned from a Celebrity Cruise to the Caribbean and can 100% agree with this fact. While there are other ways to enjoy this incredible and diverse region, a cruise is not only the most enjoyable, but also makes the most sense.

Taking in a range of different destinations over a single trip allows guests to experience the culture, beauty and history of this part of the world, moving between each of the Islands, with each of them offering something different from the one before.

As the Caribbean season is approaching us again, there are so many cruise lines who will cover all of the Islands in one way or another, Southern, Eastern, Western

Viking Cruise who now offer Ocean Cruises are outstanding with their new product and offer in my opinion a better product than their River one. Viking will visit Puerto Rico on the Viking Sea,  which also visits Barbados and Guadeloupe.

Other options are with Celebrity Cruise who are putting the finishing touches to another beauty The Edge which looks set to be a game- changer for the cruise industry and soon to be followed by another newbie for Celebrity The Apex both will cover all the corners of the Caribbean.

The best way to see the islands are by taking some of the cruise lines tours – these can be pre-booked before you go or done whilst on board your ship, I personally think you need to look at your itinerary and decide if there is something you particularly want to visit, if so i would say to pre-book it, chances are if its popular it will get full quite quickly, prices will be the same whenever you book.

I would also recommend doing the tours the cruise line arrange who will take care of you from start to finish taking away any doubts or worries you may have.
