Working in the cruise industry its obvious we will get asked lots of questions like……..
- Which Cruise Line Do You Like?
- What’s The Best Ship?
- Who’s good for Entertainment?
Its always tricky when you get asked questions like this, as each ship is different and all cruise lines are different too.
It depends what you want some are better than other’s for entertainment or food and some are good with children facilities etc so…… thought I would share with you some results from cruise Cruise Critic 2015 Awards. You may be surprised, you may agree or disagree.
For example; Carnival Cruise Lines are good value for money, but they are very Marmite – days at sea they call – “Fun Day At Sea” – not sure that would go down well with some people.
Azamara Club Cruises – are excellent for their choice of excursions as they are small groups and are very cultural themed, also with Azamara as the ships hold a small number of passengers they can sail into all the lovely little ports the biggies cant get into.
so here are the results for you……
Best New Ship: Viking Star (Viking Ocean Cruises)
Best for Luxury: Crystal Cruises
Best for Families: Royal Caribbean International
Best Itineraries: Azamara Club Cruises
Best Value-for-Money: Carnival Cruise Line
Best Dining: Celebrity Cruises
Best Entertainment: Royal Caribbean International
Best Suites: Royal Caribbean International
Best Inside Cabins: Disney Cruise Line
Best Standard Cabins: MSC Cruises
Best Shore Excursions: Azamara Club Cruises
Best Nightlife: Norwegian Cruise Line
I agree with most of these winners too – but what do you think?
