As most people know we are a nation of pet lovers, so how lovely to know you can take your pet on holiday with you? Queen Mary have kennels on board and are approved with Pet Travel Scheme (P.E.T.S.) on Transatlantic Crossings. Pets are allowed on all of the crossings except the first and last one of the year take a look at the conditions…. Cruise ship policy.
The programme includes such services as
- Fresh baked biscuits at turn-down.
- Choice of beds and blankets.
- Coat with a QM2 logo.
- Cats & Dogs received a gift of Freebie, name tag, food dish, a portrait with owners and a certificate.
Kennels are located on Sun Deck and midships there are 12 kennels ( 2 levels of 6)
Top level – Small 33 x 33 x 27″ high & Floor Level – Large 33 x 33 x 39″ high
Pets are measured from tip of tail to tip of nose, or feet to head cannot exceed the sizes as above.
Kennels can be used for cats, dogs and other small animals.
- Food – is provided and special requirements can be prepared by the kennel attendant.
- Exercise – Open deck is fitted with a lamppost and a fire hydrant to exercise your pet.
- Visiting Hours – Are as follows and outside of these hours by arrangement.
- Documentation must be presented to the ship before you travel.
