Some interesting details from P&O for their new ship Iona, P&O has revealed some of the Spa information… The cruise line will have the most luxurious wellness facility of the fleet. This is going to include a salt steam room, along with destination themed treatments and infinity whirlpools.
The addition of the salt steam room marks a first for P&O Cruises. Salt therapy is a top spa trend and taking just 45 minutes in the salt room will offer health and relaxation benefits.
Also making its debut is the “Experimental retail boutique” – with a spa shop dedicated to skin, body and hair care. Guest will be able to choose from the following dependant on the destination…
- Nordic Cleanse, which is a detoxifying treatment incorporating acupressure and back massage with a warming body and face masks.
- Baltic & Ice massage – a deep tissue massage using warm and cool stones.
The new spa therapies on Iona are very much geared up those who are wanting to spend some ” me time” the views of the ocean from the spa will add to the soothing experience I am informed, as specialists staff help and guide you through a tempting menu of transformative treatments.
