Cancellations everywhere !!!

Anyone else feel as if all they have seen this past 2 weeks is cancellations everywhere, from Airlines to cruise line, theirs a lot at the moment.

so firstly lets talk about Ryanair, customers have been demanding a full list of affected flights since the airline announced they are cancelling up to 50 flights per day for the next six weeks. Making the announcement on Friday 15th September, the budget airline said they had made the decision in an effort to improve the punctuality of flights and ‘clear a backlog of staff leave’.A statement on their website said: ‘Up to 50 flights per day (less than 2% of flights) have been cancelled for the next six weeks. Your flight is operating as usual unless you receive an email. The cancellations could affect up to 285,000 passengers’.  The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)’s chief executive Andrew Haines said he was “furious” that the airline was not complying with the law.The authority has launched “enforcement action” against Ryanair for wrongly claiming it did not have to re-route passengers on rival airlines. Ryanair now says it will co-operate.

Following the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma & Maria, Royal Caribbean is using one of their cruise ships to help evacuate people from Puerto Rico.The cruise line announced on Tuesday that it is cancelling its September 30th Adventure of the Seas trip in order to use the ship to help victims of Hurricane Maria.The 3,800-passenger vessel will bring aid to San Juan, as well as St. Croix and St. Thomas, which were hit by both Maria and Hurricane Irma; Adventure arrives in San Juan on Wednesday and will take evacuees to Fort Lauderdale before returning to Puerto Rico next week.
