Senseless in Seattle

This week I was genuinely mortified when I heard of the awful news that there was a Murder on Emerald Princess.

Confusion set in amongst the 3,600 Passengers as there was a murder mystery party which quickly turned much more sinister. Utah local Kenneth Manzanares has officially been charged with the Murder of his realtor wife Kristy Manzanares, 39.

The FBI are involved as the incident happened in USA territory. Its alleged that the deceased suffered a major head wound and there was a lot of blood in the couple’s cabin. Its un known how many members of their family were on board at the time however we are led to believe this was a family vacation.

When questioned by suspecting guests and staff Mr Manzanares said “I did it because she would not stop laughing at me” It’s understood there were no previous convictions and I am honestly struggling to comprehend what an earth went on that day at Sea.

Its widely considered possible that the accused tried to throw his wife overboard after woods from the balcony cabin before being stopped by security and handcuffed in an adjoining room confessing “my life is over”

Its reported some 200 Passengers were interviewed by the FBI and asked for their eyewitness accounts.

Passengers that were on board the ship will receive $150 USD on board credit off of their next Princess cruise as their cruise was significantly affected not just emotionally but also there were huge wholesale changes to the itinerary. The ship had to divert to Juneau staying there until very late in the evening before departing for the Town of Skegway.

The locals of Juneau must have wondered what was happening with most of the ship docked in for the impromptu stop.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this, I am sure you would agree it is truly devestating for all concerned ..
