Fred Olsen are putting the Fun in Funchal 2020

As we prepare for launch in March and April of all of the cruise lines 2019-2020 itineraries, there are always a few cruises that really jump out at you.

I wanted to share something special with you. Fred Olsen are a cruise line that love and celebrate their heritage and more importantly they have a huge cult like fan base among us cruisers.

Fred’s are celebrating their 3rd ever Reunion for anyone that has not picked up a Fred Olsen brochure they often like to have all four ships meet up with each other in a part of the world for a very special Fred style Party.

They have previously had all their ships in Bergan Norway and their captains in Cadiz party in Spain. we are talking fantastic music and special event entertainers fireworks and an unforgettable experience for everyone on 4 ships to share something special in common.

so on the third of April 2020 I know it sounds a long way off but there is more time to save up. All four Fred ships will be dropping anchor and sitting pretty on the banks of the lush green coastline of Funchal Portugal.

This is not like any usual port stop this is a big deal to Fred Olsen and they are hugely appreciative of their history heritage and business model of being small bespoke local and different.

If you have not yet experienced the Fred Olsen difference then this is the perfect time of year to set sail from your local port and spend 14 nights in the canaries/ med on route to their big Reunion.

Fred’s have a sailing from Southampton, Dover, Liverpool and Newcastle so we pretty much have the whole country covered.

Ask me about the four sailings and Ill be sure to give you the best quote around. I know how popular these sailings will be so booking early is the only way to avoid disappointment.

Have you done one of these special Fred event cruises?

What was your experience?
