Dubai The Finest City on Earth?

So Last week I got a lot of stick for my blog post about our experience in Dubai’s Taxi’s you can read that here.

In order to offer some balance on the City and Our experience I thought I would write my review of The City and time we shared on our first visit to The Middle East.

We checked in To The Hilton The Walk Hotel where we had a rather lavish 2 double bedroom apartment for 3 nights, No exaggeration this place was huge. We had a fantastic view of The Beach all be it through the endless construction on the doorstep.

The Walk itself is a very clean Modern Strip of bars restaurants, shops and lined with tress, new buildings and hotels. You are about a ten minute walk to The Dubai Marina and just seconds from The Beach.

It reminded me a lot of Miami South Beach and in fact the whole City has that feel with its modern sky scrapers, Superb road infrastructure and the size of the Malls.

I was most impressed with Dubai Marina I am a sucker for beautiful modern architecture as I was brought up in London. i found myself in ore of what The United Arab Emirates have been able to achieve here in the last 40 years.

The vision it must have took to burn the bridges and go out building this super City in such a short space of time is nothing short of remarkable.

It doesn’t end here for Dubai however all over the City you get the impression everyone is getting ready for The worlds eyes with The World Expo being hosted in 2020. as we drove back to the airport our Cab driver was telling us about 2-3 New Mini cities opening up for 2020 with The worlds tallest building set to surpass The Barj Khalifa its predecessor.

Even US President Donald J Trump has built one of his spectacular Golf Course Mansion complexes here with lots of billboard adverts pointing out the opulence and luxury that is Dubai finest waterfront residences.

I was super impressed by The Largest mall in the world and could not believe they had a full Aqua super park on open view in the middle of the mall complete with sharks.

With everything they do here is set to break the mold and they want the worlds eyes to see how things should be done. couple this with one of the finest climates in the world for some winter sun well I have to agree Dubai is one of the Worlds Finest Cities I have ever visited.
