Shore Excursions……..Why its better to prebook

This week I took a call from clients who had previously looked at our shore excursions on offer for there cruise prior to sailing but had decided against pre booking any.

Once they got on board they regretted this decision as they had been looking at tours in Rome and Florence/Pisa.
They soon realised that on board they were being charged 3 times the cost that we had quoted them.
It was worth a quick call from the ship to see if I could get them onto the tours the next day, by making a few phone calls I successfully got them on the Rome tour but unfortunately the Florence/Pisa options were fully booked .
At this late stage she was lucky that numbers could be juggled to get them onto the tour they wanted in Rome…….
