Sailing out of Venice…WOW

Wow …. Sailing out of Venice on a lovely sunny day has to be one of the most beautiful sights to see.
As we stood on the deck with a cocktail in hand we sailed out of Venice for the start of our honeymoon cruise on board Royal Caribbean Vision of the Seas .
Check in was seamless and we were on the boat and into our cabin with no stress, apart from me being the travel agent in the family had forgotten to print off my own set sail pass, you can imagine the comments from Stu my hubby!

Included in our package we’d got the free select drinks package and before we’d embarked we upgraded to the Premium Package for $10.00 per person per night which was well worth the small cost for the 7 nights  we were on board, they do charge you the 18% tax on the upgrade cost but at $82.00 each all our drinks were included
so we could celebrate with a cocktail or two as soon as we embarked.

Our cabin was a large inside stateroom, number 8521 on Deck 8 which was in a great position towards the back of the ship , close to the lifts and stairs so all areas of the ship were easy to get to  especially the pool bar! 🙂

After we’d checked out our stateroom we went up to Deck 10 where we had lovely views and settled down to experience the amazing sailing out of Venice Port .

As we sailed out of Venice we sailed past some beautiful buildings and the sights were spectacular and as good as I’d envisaged, a perfect start to our honeymoon.
