Allure of the Seas

 

Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas has emerged from an 18-day dry dock with a host of new features including new dining options, cabin types and shops.

The changes on board are two brand new restaurants restaurants — Sabor Taqueria, with Mexican food, and Coastal Kitchen for suite passengers — as well as ‘reimagined’ Izumi that carries a complete Teppanyaki menu.

Another change to the dining areas are that the ship has also had its main dining room sliced into three separate dining venues: Silk, American Icon and The Grande. The restaurants, which debuted on Quantum of the Seas, were intended to promote Royal’s ‘Dynamic Dining’ concept. However, the roll-out of the controversial flexible dining program, which offers no set dining times or formal nights, has been put on hold for the ship following feedback from clients who prefer the more formal dining program. .

The alterations in the staterooms are Allure has 10 new suites, including two Royal Suites, six Grand Suites and two Royal Family Suites. New shops include Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors and Coach.

Allure of the Seas will be based in Barcelona, for the summer before returning to Fort Lauderdale in November 2015.
