Dying for a cruise………I am for this one!

I can’t explain how excited I am to be sharing this news with you! An outbreak of plague on a cruise ship is usually considered a bad thing, but leave it to “The Walking Dead” to make it sound like the best cruise holiday ever! My wife and I have 2 favourite things other than our 2 children of course….and that’s The popular TV series The Walking Dead and cruising! Zombie Passengers that step aboard the ‘Norwegian Pearl’ next January will be stepping directly into the horror of the critically acclaimed Walking Dead television series. Surrounded by just the ocean, there will be no escape for these guests when the zombies are released.

Starting on 26 January 2018, fans of the drama will be able to climb aboard the show’s Walker Stalker Cruise, setting sail for the Bahamas in the company of several “The Walking Dead” cast members, and enjoying zombie-themed games, concerts, contests, and panels on the way to their destination.Zombie make-up artists will also be on board, which means that you can leave for vacation as a normal human being and step off the boat a few days later as a member of the drooling undead.  This is the 3rd ‘Walker Stalker’ cruise and this year is going to be just as popular!

Not only will the guests have full access to the above activities, but they will also get to meet and interact with the actual Walking Dead cast. There will be question and answer panels, photo opportunities, and everyone aboard is guaranteed a one-to-one autograph signing.

Dubbed the “Walker Stalker Cruise,” the event is a joint venture of Norwegian Cruise Lines, marketer Sixth man and Walker Stalker Con, and will take place over four days in January on-board the Norwegian Pearl cruise ship. About 2,200 guests will sail from Miami to the Cozumel, all the while enjoying games, costume contests, themed events, concerts, zombie makeup applications and, perhaps most enticing, panels, autograph sessions and photo ops with several stars of the show. Cast members of the brilliant show have already committed to the cruise. The Norwegian Pearl is a Jewel class cruise ship of Norwegian Cruise Line, she has a chic bowling alley, 16 delicious dining options, 13 bars and lounges, dazzling casino, tranquil spa, and spacious Garden Villas are just a few things that make this Jewel Class cruise ship a destination of her own. I was lucky enough to be on her launch back in 2006 in Southampton.

I wish I was on this one, especially as the new series starts this weekend (I can’t wait…..been a long 6 months)  What do you all think, is there a TV series that you would like too combine with a cruise? I would love to hear your thoughts, in the meantime……..Can I have some annual leave in January please??  Like the wife would let me anyway……
