I do love a good Wedding

It’s not often that I have a weekend off so when I do it is normally for something special and last weekend was certainly no different.

On the 7th August 2016 the whole family gathered at the Gorgeous Judges Country House Hotel near Yarm for my Nieces Wedding. It was a really Special Day for many reasons mainly because my Niece Kirsty had been ill for a while leading up to the wedding and I think a few of us thought that it may not go ahead. Before the Hen Party was due to take place Kirsty appeared to have a cold and whilst away in Liverpool managed to find herself in hospital with what she was told was a virus. After returning home and no improvement after a while she took another turn for the worse and this time when she was taken to hospital again was diagnosed with pneumonia. Needless to say this caused all the preparations and planning to go into chaos. My sister Michelle and my Mam had to run around for what seemed like weeks organising collecting and paying.

With the wedding looming suddenly everything seemed to fall into place and with Kirsty recovering and the excitement kicking in we were all set. The sun was shinning and although it was a little windy they could have the dream wedding they wanted outside in the hotel grounds!

The whole family was there and it was so nice for everyone to see each other and have something to celebrate. My Daughter Abigail was one of the Bridesmaids and my twin boys Will and Matthew were little Page Boys. I have to say I was incredibly proud of how the looked and by the lovely comments I got from everyone about them.

My twins whilst they are incredibly cute they can be quite a handful at times and had everyone commenting on them and laughing as they appeared to be the entertainment on the evening with dancing and singing. They even went round the full room to give everyone a sticker from a paw patrol sticker book they got in there little page boy goody bag. That was followed by taking my phone around on a selfie stick and taking a phote of everyone before I realised what they were up to.

All in all it was a fantastic day and night. Even the fact that it was £5.50 a pint could not spoil it and on that note cheers to Kirsty and John the bride and groom.
