Vantage V Getaway……. what’s important to you?

It’s that time of year again, launch f the 2014 – 2015 brochures is upon us. We are busy pre-registering clients who want to book their P&O and Cunard cruises early in order to get the cabin they want on a particular sailing with a ten per cent discount for past passengers.
By booking early the will be covered by the Vantage Price Promise, as follows:
Clients can benefit from On Board Credit or Free Parking or Free Coach Transfers and should the price of their cruise drop they will receive On Board Credit, and upgrade ore renumeration to the value of the price drop.

Clients can choose their cabin number and their dining time.
Clients can amend their booking up to 90 days prior to departure.
Clients can choose between digital or paper documents
Clients can join a waitlist if a voyage or cabin grade has sold out.

However if, nearer the time of sailing the cruise line introduces a Getaway Fare Code clients can book their cruise on the following terms:
Book a cabin grade only, not a specific cabin – the ship will allocate your cabin on the grade you have booked or a higher grade
Cabins can be any position and on any deck
Payment must be made in full at the time of booking
No amendments are permitted once the booking is made, not even a cabin upgrade.
Cancellation terms are 100%
Clients cannot book a dining time, this will be allocated by the ship
Clients will not receive any printed/paper documentation, everything will be digital
There will be no On Board Credit or Free Parking/ Coach Transfers on Getaway bookings

The most important thing for clients to note is that if they book on a Vantage Fare Code and a Getaway Fare Code is released then non of the Vantage Price Promise terms apply so it is most important to weigh up what is important to YOU before booking. If you want a particular cabin/ position on the ship, or a particular dinner sitting then book early as you will not get this if you wait to book late. If you are a flexible cruiser who is happy to go with the flow regards your cabin or when you eat, then take advantage of the late deals!
