Thank goodness that’s all over……

So Christmas is over – do I hear you breathe a sigh of relief? I know I am relieved! Even so, it never ceases to amaze me how soon it is all over, after all the planning, shopping and preparation.
Christmas in the Wilson household went smoothly enough. The children were thrilled with their presents, the grandparents behaved themselves, as did the Turkey. I drank just enough cooking sherry to take the edge off everything and survive the chaos intact! The only incident involved our 6 month old Jack Russell, Poppy, who ate the remains of the Brandy-soaked Christmas Pudding – don’t even go there!

Having had a good look at my youngest sons new laptop, Grandpa has decided to join the 21st Century. He has set up a Broadband account this morning, and is ‘at the shops’ as I write buying his own laptop! Just let me catch him booking a cruise ‘on line’ instead of through me and there will be trouble indeed! I will keep you posted as to his progress….

So, just the New Year celebrations to get through and we can, hopefully, get back to some semblance of normality! I will be back in the office on Saturday, 2nd of January.  The cruise lines have all started their sales, there are some excellent deals to be had – Cabin Upgrades, On Board Spend, Free Child Places to name but a few.  If you are thinking of a cruise for 2010 then this is the time to book it. Business will be brisk, and cabins will sell quickly, so book early and don’t ‘miss the boat’ – excuse the pun!
I look forward to speaking to clients old and new over the coming weeks.  Happy New Year to you all!!
