Palma Mallorca – a first for Royal Caribbean

For the first time ever, Royal Caribbean will be basing a ship in Palma de Mallorca when the Grandeur of the Seas sails from there in 2011.

The ship will offer 7 night or 14 night back-to-back sailings taking in the French Riviera, the Italian coastline and the Balearic Islands.
The Grandeurs cruises will be aimed mainly at the UK and Irish market for families looking for a bit of sunshine from an easily accessible port. It’s so much easier to get cheap direct flights to the likes of Palma and Barcelona than Venice or Rome, so excellent news.

The Grandeur can carry up to 2,500 passengers and has plenty to offer the family market, including childrens and teenagers programmes.
