Oh Leo, where art thou?

Off I went on Saturday to Southampton for my night aboard the new Queen Elizabeth, and full of anticipation I was, I can tell you. Not just to see the ship or experience the White Star service, what I was wondering was  – would Leonardo De Caprio really turn up. Well, as you can see I waited and waited, but I was to be disappointed, he obviously had a better offer!

Not only did I stand under the clock, I searched the whole ship. From the Royal Court Theatre to the Kings Room, then the Golden Lion, the Spa, the kids area, I even searched the Princess and Queens Grill resaraunts (although of course if you’ve ever seen Titanic you would know I had no chance of finding him there). I tried inside cabins, balconies, a Q1, a P4, you name it I tried it, and boy, did I see some carpets on my journey, though I have to say they were quite tasteful. The only one that I found horrendous was in the kids room.

I looked for him at dinner in the Britannia Restaraunt, to no avail.

Now, as we pulled into Southampton the Independence of the Seas was about to set sail. I wonder if he got on the wrong ship!
