MSC to join the Dubai trend by the end of 2011

With the announcement of the arrival of the twelth ship set to join their fleet by mid 2012, the Fantastica, rumours are rife that MSC is looking for new ports and destinations. As one of the fastest growing cruise lines – they have added eight ships to their fleet since 2008, they are looking to broaden their horizons.

Several cruise lines already operate from the Gulf state including Princess, Royal Caribbean and Azamara and it is prooving hugely popular with cruisers.
A spokesman for MSC wouldn’t confirm the rumours but said that the company were looking for ‘good port facilities, good access to flights and good infratructures’.

Personally I think it would be great to see MSC in the Gulf, giving clients the opportunity to visit the region on quality ships at a great price.
