I’m on a mission – Oasis, I’m coming to get you!

I’ve just had the really exciting news that I’m going to be spending a day on Oasis of the Seas when she visits Southampton in October! I am so excited! I mean, what an opportunity. A chance to spend some time time on the biggest cruise ship in the World. I am told that I can expect to experience an entire family holiday in one day – strikes me it’s going to be a busy one.

The design of Oasis was ground-breaking and innovative, something Royal Caribbean are well known for in the industry and I cannot wait to experience some of the things she has to offer. I don’t have an actual itinerary for the day but something tells me we are going to experience some of the wonderful features unique to this wonderful ship.

I quite fancy watching a show in the Aqua Theatre or having a gentle ride on the Carousel on the Boardwalk, maybe a saunter through Central Park, the garden lined by shops and bars, not so sure about having a go on the flowrider though as it would probably end in tears knowing my luck! And as for the zipwire, well I think I would rather have a nice relaxing massage in the Vitality Spa thank you very much.

One thing I don’t have to wonder about is the quality and variety of lunch on board.Having sailed with royal Caribbean before I know with absolute certainty the lunch and dinner will be meals to savour – I shall take plenty of photos don’t worry, along with plenty of shots of the carpet offerings on board.

All in all, I am sure it will be a day full of wonderful experiences; a day that I am very much looking forward to. Be assured that I will give you a full account of the days events on my return, although I cannot promise that this will include a photo of me on the zip wire!
