What are you doing on the 5th May?

As I type January is coming to a close – so soon! Has it really been over a month since Christmas? At this rate it will be Christmas again before we know it, but we’ll not dwell on that.

So how was January for you? Have you booked your 2016 cruises yet or are you playing the long game, waiting to see what if anything the cruise lines are going to throw into the mix next month? What that will be remains to be see, even those of us in the know aren’t ‘in the know’ yet. Maybe with sales looking strong the offers will continue without change, let’s see what happens on Monday shall we.

I have to say that of all the deals on offer this month the ones that seems to have confused many clients are the Royal Caribbean and Celebrity ‘Buy one get one half off’. We have tried to market the campaign as clearly as we can but still it seems to confuse people, and to be honest the prices are fairly steep even with this half price for the second passenger. And are the drinks really ‘free’ given the overall price of the cruise? Are these drinks packages really worth it? Well I think the current Select Drinks Package is. It covers Wine, Beer and soft drinks, and if you prefer spirits or cocktails you will be able to upgrade to the Premium package once on board for roughly £9.00 per day, depending on the exchange rate at the time, which isn’t bad really.
