Carpets fit for a Princess?

I found a wonderful array of carpets on my recent cruise on Emerald Princess. It never ceases to amaze me, this whole cruise ship carpet thing. The more gaudy, the more in your face and outrageous, the better, Who chooses the designs? I mean, who really says we need this or that carpet, and who would have thought they could compliment decor? Probably the reason why I am not an interior designer – I have absolutely no idea.

I have recently found a website advertising cruise ship carpet- some very garish designs I must say but whether the major lines buy online, I doubt very much. I will have to do more research and let you know.

Anyway, Emerald Princess was up there with the best when it comes to carpets so I hope you enjoy. For the first time ever I actually had two people ask me if I was really taking photos of the carpets – “of course, why wouldn’t I?” I replied- what do they know!
