21 again – I wish!

I’ve been hatching a plan for a while now and last night it came to fruition. Thursday was my birthday, and as always around that time one of my best friends who I have known since I was five cooked dinner for me, which we shared with another friend and their husbands – just for the record I am currently between husbands!
We had a lovely night, with fabulous food and I had some lovely presents from them too – I was so spoiled.
Anyway, I had a surprise for them. In three years time Clare, Peta and I will be celebrating a very significant birthday and whatever we do individually to celebrate this occasion I would dearly love the three of us to do something special together. With this in mind I knew I had to do something to make sure we put some money away fot this, so I bought all of us a Terramundi pot to encourage us to start saving for what ever we chose to do. They were so thrilled and immediately started discussing what we should do, and guess what? They looked a bit sheepish as they asked if I would find going on a cruise too much of a busmans holiday! Not one bit I said (secretly delighted). Neither of them have ever been on a ship and would love to try the experience.
We have three years to plan and save, and already I know that the anticipation is going to be as much fun as the cruise itself. I know from being in the business that there is so much choice – how we will ever choose I don’t know, although  being realistic I think we will just be doing a three or four night cruise.
