Off to Rockley

Well it is finally time for my holiday.  I am off to Poole in Dorset tomorrow to stop at Rockley Park for 11 days.  I am really looking forward to a break and spending some time with my husband.  We have had a busy year so far and as I am heavily pregnant with our first baby due in August we haven’t been away at all yet this year.  It has been so hot the last few days with the heatwave we had and now the weather is turning and the forecast isn’t great for our time away.  I wouldn’t have been able to cope in the heat as it was too hot but I would like to get some dry weather with some sun.  Fingers crossed the forecast will change and we will get some decent weather.  This is the second year in a row we are going to Rockley as my in laws own a holiday home there so we stop in this.  The park itself is really nice and a good size.  We tend to go out and about while there and the weather makes our decisions to whether we get to the beach or not.  I am looking forward to having a break before baby arrives and eating out at a few nice restaurants.  We tend to go into Poole Quay where we go to a nice restaurant overlooking the yachts.  We tend to eat out most nights while we are away as it just saves one of us cooking.  Last year we weren’t too lucky with the weather so ended up visiting lots of places around the area.  I would like to think we might get to the beach a few times but even if the weather isn’t great it will be nice to just switch off from everything for a while.
