Fred Olsen and Liverpool

The Fred Olsen Boudicca is set to return to Liverpool’s Pier Head Cruise terminal tomorrow 9th June for an 26 night Berbuda and America’s cup cruise.  The 880 guest ship is offering this cruise for the 35th America’s Cup in Hamilton Bermuda.  The Fred Olsen Boudicca will actually be setting sail on 10 unique adventures from Liverpool over 2017/2018 from June to September.  I sailed from Liverpool port for the first time at Christmas and thought it was really easy and straight forward.  Liverpool is a lovely city and you can always combine a stay there before embarking your cruise.  Other itineraries will include a 16 nights French Riviera cruise, a 8 night Lochs of Scotland cruise, 8 nights Fjords cruise and 16 nights Canada cruise.  Fred Olsen like to sail from the Merseyside region to give some guests a local port to cruise from and it is also a lot quieter than some of these other bigger ports.  Fred Olsen are also going to be holding a summer party night in Liverpool on the evening of 28th August 2017 while the ship is in port for the annual International Beatleweek Festival.  Fred Olsen also have one of the best Beatles tribute acts secured for the event.  Fred Olsen will also be sailing from Liverpool in its 2018/2019 season where the Black Watch will be offering sailings and will offer about 18 sailings from April to November.   I really think Liverpool is a great port for Fred Olsen being smaller ships.  It is so easy to board and the city has so much to offer with its history.  I have sailed from Liverpool but also been to Liverpool a few times for a city stay.  I love the city for some many reasons and really think for people in this area it is easy for them to cruise with Fred Olsen having a choice of sailings.
