City Break and Cruise all in one

When you board a ship sometimes you think how nice it would have been to have longer in the destination before you set sail.  You can always choose to extend your stay yourself by deviating your flights and booking a hotel.  Celebrity Cruises have decided to announce city stay holiday packages giving you the option to experience more of the port before you join your cruise.  The pre cruise experiences will be available in sixteen destinations giving guests time to explore.  Guests will be able to choose to visit Barcelona, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, Athens, Abu Dhabi and more.  The packages will be available in almost all port cities that the Celebrity fleet sail from.  Each city stay package will include 3 night stay in a luxury hotel with breakfast, a full day guided tour with lunch, transfers and a half day guided tour with farewell dinner.  This is certainly giving Celebrity passengers time to explore these cities rather than just heading straight to the ship.  The packages are already available and will be for sailings from February 2015.  I think this is a good idea for those passengers who like to be part of a group and by included guided tours for passengers I am sure will go down well.
