Two Weeks To Go!

So the news consuming my world at the moment is the imminent arrival of my wife and I’s little baby boy!

We are now at 38 weeks and all of the nerves have passed, the anxiety dissipated, and the fear of becoming a dad has totally gone.

I realise nothing really prepares you for it, but I think that we are now as ready as we’ll ever be for him, and we are both now just very excited!

We are at that stage of pretty much just waiting for him to pop out (hopefully it’s that easy)!

All the furniture and decorating has been finished, stock piling of nappies, clothes, toys, and all the other various baby purchases are all ready to go.

Hell I even have the isofix car seat set up in the motor, ready to be sat in!

So really the purpose of this blog was to inform all of my clients, friends, customers and colleagues, that if I suddenly fall off the face of the earth in work terms, you’ll know why!

Obviously he could essentially come any day now, and looking at the rather large, kicking bump, hanging from the front of my wife, he is just about ready to come meet us!

Our due date is around the 5th to 7th of August but as we are having a natural birth he will be here when he wants, but if he’s anything like me and the wife, he’ll be good and punctual!!

We’ve been told the longest they will let him cook is up until the 17th August before they induce him, but I reckon he’ll be here well before that.

It’s amazing to think it’s finally here, having known since early December, keeping everything secret before telling all the family into the New Year, and now it’s all about to happen! Argh!! Maybe that panic hasn’t gone just yet!!
