Off to Malta!

Well it’s finally time for me to have my own holiday! Wuhooo!

It’s long overdue let me tell you!

The last time my wife and I had a holiday was our honeymoon just over 2 years ago, and the last time we went away for this amount of time (12 nights), was literally about 12 years ago due to work commitments!

Just praying that the snow doesn’t cause us any problems!

We are staying up in Mellieha Bay, which has come recommended by a few people and praised by quite a lot of customers that now know i’m going there. So all positive so far!

Of course this holiday will be somewhat different for us than previous ones, because now we have a little boy! He will turn 7 months old whilst we are there, and he’s at the ago where he’s started to find his voice and roll around from back to front, so we are somewhat on our toes with him!

Our hotel though is well equipped for families, which frankly over the years would have put me off, but becoming a dad I now have to deal with these things as I knew I always would some day!

It’s the flight that worries me though with his ears popping, him crying, or filling up his nappy – I have now become the very thing that I used to hate about flying – a parent with a noisy baby. Fortunately the boy is noisy in a funny way so far, he’s not much of a crier, he just likes to try and get involved with your conversation and my word you know he’s there. Everyone on that flight I’m hoping, will have a good tolerance for it! Luckily it’s not too far and we will try and engineer that he feeds on and off, and naps a little, so hopefully we can limited his loud use of his lungs to an hour or so! Apologies in advance anyone flying to Malta on Saturday!!

Anyway, I just wanted to let all my customers know I’ll be away until mid-March, back on the 17th, so if you need anything in that time that is urgent, I ask you to contact the office on my behalf. Or if you can wait, give me a call in a couple of weeks when I return.
