Don’t Wait To Book Your Family Cruise!

It’s been a busy April thanks to some sharp advertising and some mega deals from many of the cruise lines.

If you are in the enviable position of being able to cruise at short notice, or if you are one of those awesome spontaneous people that just sees a deal and get’s on it! Then April and May are the months to book your holidays.

For couple these deals can be eye wateringly good, but I find I’m getting a lot of calls recently for families thinking the same deals and availability will apply to them along with their kids during the summer hollidays!

Errrm no is the answer to that.

Now I don’t have children yet but my better half is a teacher, so I know all too well how expensive it is to travel during this peak season, and I have moaned about it for years, but the fact of the matter is you have to both expect it, and accept it.

There is no point having a shout at me, the travel agent, as to why the price is 3 x times the price in August as it is in June! Nothing I can do!

Well I say nothing, I can do something, I can tell you to be savvy and realise that cruising is an elitist holiday and that is what it costs for a luxury fortnight around the Med! I can also advise that if you feel that it’s too costly now or you can’t get the cabins you want for this year, then for Gods sake look at next year!

People forget that cruising is becoming more popular every year, with the age range decreasing all the time, so if you are wanting to book something for you and your family, don’t try and be clever by waiting for a ‘last minute deal’ because it won’t happen.

There is an well known saying, ‘you can have anything if you pay for it’, and it’s no truer than with cruising in peak season. That goes for Summer, Half Term, Christmas etc etc all the major breaks. They are more expensive and people book them up!

So use your noggin and start looking now at 2016 and 2017, loads of cruises are now on sale, they are brilliantly priced and you have got a year so save up for them!

For a lot a cruise can be a once in a lifetime experience. A lifetime is a long time so one year isnt going to make much difference is it!
