P&O Scrap Future Cruise Deposits

So as from of yesterday P&O has scrapped their Future Cruise Deposit, allowing guests to pay £50.00 pp towards a future Cruise, this will come as a shock to a lot of people, they have restructured offering to future bookings made while onboard.

The change means that whilst booking on board you must pick the cruise you want to book; however, they will offer passengers a two-week window after they return from their cruise holiday to transfer their future cruise deposit to an alternative sailing, providing it is of the same or a higher value.

I will have a lot of very disappointed loyal P&O and think this is big disappointment that they are going down this route, the change can be made free of charge and will offer a small loophole for those passengers who are unsure of which date to commit to when booking a future cruise onboard.

They are also taking on a new senior loyalty sales manager on across the fleet

They say the changes will make less waiting time, better service, for clients on board!

What do you think about these major changes is it a good or bad thing?
