Sunshine In Turkey

I arrived back last week from a fantastic week away in Turkey. The main reason for choosing Turkey was the weather for this time of year and thankfully it lived up to this, I actually expected at lest some rain but thankfully nothing at all. Just sunny blue skies and temperatures of approx 26c, so If your looking for an October break away I would definitley recommend Turkey!

I have been to Turkey many times and have always stayed in Marmaris but I wanted somewhere more child friendly and with a much shorter transfer as it can take upto 2  hours to Marmaris! So we opted for the First Choice Holiday Village in Sarigerme. A large family friendly beachfront hotel, plenty to do , large pools a variety of restaurants and all inclusive and it was a great choice. Rooms were large and modern, food was actually really good for an all inclusive, Im not normally the biggest fan of going all inclusive unless its longhaul but I was pretty impressed with this property! You can never beat the food quality and choice on a  cruise ship maybe I have been spoilt all of these years with the many cruises I have been lucky enough to go on!

If you have slightly older children the hotel is fantastic, Alfie is still only little side so wasnt to interested but they had brilliant kids clubs running throughout the day, waterslides, pool parties, swim academy, soccer school the list goes on!

Thats my last sun holiday of the year, I could already do with another but i will have to get onto the drawing board and think where we can go in 2019!
