Disney To The Rescue!

It happens often, imagine this scene, a gorgeous cruise ship, sailing the open seas heading to another exciting port of call when they happen to stumble on a refugee boat in crisis, cruise ship to the rescue! But this story has a twist….

The latest cruise ship playing super hero is the Disney Fantasy, a beautiful ship which attracts many families looking to sail aroudn the Caribbean on a fun and friendly but luxury liner, Owned by Walt Disney and carrying around 2,500 passenegrs. The Fantatsy was sailing just north of Varadero in Cuba when the crew spot a capsized small boat being battered by the seas and 3 unlucky people holding on for dear life, luckily for the trio the Fantatsy sailed by and sent a boat to save them and bring them onboard to safety.

As in any such circumstance the captain called for the US Coast Guard to let them know what had happened, and to the crews suprise the trio were fugitives , on the run trying to escape to Cuba for a life of freedom! They were wanted in New Orleans for Credit Card fraud, and were sent straight back to face there charges, so it seems it was an unlucky day for the three fugitives trying to avoid prosecution!

Well done Disney on capturing three wanted fugitives! A new superhero in the making, Could this be the basis for a new Disney movie perhaps?
