Britannia Here We Come!

This weekend we are off to join P&O Britannia in Barbados for her 13 night transatlantic voyage back to Southampton and I cant wait! We have done a transatlantic cruise before, back in 2011 on the Azura so we know what to expect and fingers crossed the crossing will be as smooth as it was back in 2011.

The main difference is we are taking our 2 year old Alfie with us, and I think cruising is going to be fantastic for us as a family, the Plus sides are we know there will be plenty of food choice for Alfie with a kids menu in each restaurant and the kids tea in the buffet restaurant also, we only have to do 1 long haul flight as we are sailing home so will also miss out the jet lag! And the children clubs start form 2 years old, Alfie absolutley loves children’s clubs and normally he is too young to stay along we have to stay with him but onboard we can choose to have 1 parent stay or if he seems confident enough and wants to he can stay for an hour ( thats my limit!) Plus I cant wait to visit my favorites Sindhu and Glasshouse!

We are visiting Tortola, Dominica and St Maarten before sailing across the the Azores during our itinerary. Dominica and Azores are new ports of call for us having never visited either before.

I will be back in the office on Saturday 25th March 2017 and shortly after will post my blog all about our cruise and especially any tips for passengers travelling with a toddler!

See you soon !
