Britannia Here I Come!

Again! For the 2nd time!

So, next weekend I will be embarking on a cruise, unfortunately for me only a short mini cruise for 2 nights. 2 years ago pretty much to the month i flew out to Barbados to join the Britannia for a 2 week transatlantic crossing back to Southampton, it was my little boys first ever cruise so plenty of memory’s to look back on!

I’m really looking forward to embarking yet again on the Britannia , she really is a wonderful ship with so much to offer! As with most 2 night voyages we will be calling at Brugge although having been into Brugge so many times now I think I may take advantage of a quieter ship and stay on board, maybe a little treat in the spa. If you have never been to Brugge though its definitely worth a visit, you can take the train into the city for the most cost effective option and then wander around the cobbled streets, plenty of chocolate shops, take a horse and carriage ride or even a little boat trip along the river.

P&O have always been my favourite cruise liner, I enjoy the British feel, the food options, drinks prices are reasonable, children’s facilities and from May they wont be charging tips so even better! Personally I prefer the larger ships in the fleet, so Azura, Ventura and Britannia are my top choices, and next year P&O are launching Iona so im sure she will make my top cut also!

Im hoping Britannia will ive up to my expectations from my last visit 2 years ago, I will give you a  full update on my thoughts when I return !
