Japan Week

This week saw the massive launch of out Japan holidays departing up until 2018. Since having watched the program when Joanna Lumley visited I have been wanting to go. It is one of those destinations that I think will amaze you. From seeing the Cherry Blossoms in March to April, taking a ride on the famous Bullet Train or a trip up Mount Fuji- all of it is pretty impressive. I have never been to Asia but Japan seems a lot calmer than some of the other countries. Also for cat lovers it worth a visit to one of their (yes there is more than one) Cat Cafes in Tokyo. They  are a place you can relax have a coffee and enjoy feline company. It is also a place where locals can adopt.

As I mentioned a trip on the Bullet Train or Shinkansen is an experience not to be missed. The train reach up to 320 KM an hour, connecting  Tokyo to all of the major cities. What better way to take in the surrounding scenery. It connects Tokyo to all of the major cities.

A must on anyone’s trip to Japan is to visit the Snow Monkeys. They are world famous for basking in hot springs and living in the snow. m These amazing animals allow you to get really close which is great for photo opportunities.

Mount Fuji is  an active vulcano 100 Kilometres southwest of Tokyo and another hot spot to visit. It is considered one of Japans most sacred mountains making it popular for hikers. There is so much to do and see in this wonderful country and what better way than to start with a cruise. Along the route you can also experience a Sumo wrestle and pick up a Samuari as a souvenir.

The choices and ways to visit this beautiful country are endless.
