Food Glorious Food!!!!!!!

For all you that do read on…….

I am a massive foodie, I love to cook and host dinner parties  for my friends and family, although i am not a very big cake maker, but i do make a mean cheesecake.

I make everything from scratch, adding as bit of this and that, using Mr Google for ideas and suggestions.

My two gorgeous boys have a pallet for home cooked food and I have cooked for them since they were 6 months old and have never given them baby food.

We eat all sorts of foods from Italian,Indian, Chinese and good traditional Sunday roast, I would probably say that my signature dish, would be a good ruby murray (sorry for the cockney slang) that’s a curry for those of you that didn’t know. A few other dishes that my children love is a lasagna, made with chorizo, smokey bacon, no Dolmio (especially after the warning recently about too much salt and sugar), served with homemade garlic bread and a crisp green salad dressed with balsamic vinegar and feta cheese.

We can’t forget a Mexican Chili, laced with red wine, steak mince, kidney beans and loads of mushrooms. My son jack likes to have Taco shells and homemade nachos, served with Salsa and sour cream.

We also like to eat out as a family and recently went to Frankie & Benny’s as a new restaurant just opened in Exeter the service was amazing and so was the food. I like big portions and good value for money. I don’t like to be ripped off, but that’s the case with most people.

Good wine is a must with a lovely meal and i am quite passionate about my wine, my favorite is Barefoot Zinfandel Rose, its amazing and goes down lovely when chilled.

So without further a do, I had better get back in my kitchen to create on of my fantastic culinary dishes.
