An Easter Break

So this week I will be heading off for some much needed rest and relaxation time with my family. Some of you already know what a challenging few months myself and family have been through.

Well last month saw a change in that and a fresh start to the year so we decided to treat ourselves to a lovely break in wonderful Yorkshire.

As much as I love cruising and visiting all those lovely foreign places, I am a great fan of my home country. We try and get at least 2 or 3 breaks throughout the year to various parts of the country. We don’t always travel far and I think that is important. We don’t always just appreciate what is on our doorstep as we feel it isn’t a proper break unless you travel far and wide.

This week will see us in the beautiful Yorkshire. My neighbouring County and just over an hour away from home. I have been to that neck of the woods a few times over recent years and it is always a good base to get around.

We have a Hot tub in our lodge again. Its always a necessity these days with teenagers in the party, as well as WIFI obviously. Most parents of teens will know what i mean!

Easter is a holiday we always do in this country and so far, the British weather has been kind to us. The forecast for next week is looking dry at least so what more can I ask for.

Last year we headed down to the Midlands for a change as my youngest daughter wanted to go to Cadbury World.

not a place I had every visited much either but again, there were so many beautiful places we visited including Litchfield
