I am currently cruising onboard the magnificent Queen Mary 2 and have to say “what a ship”!
Embarking the QM2 is like stepping back in time and you half expect to see ladies strolling the decks in crinoline gowns whilst shielding their fair complexions with parasols.
Cunard is very proud of its maritime past and this is apparent as you walk around the ship. The QM2 is a moving museum on ocean travel, when really that was the only way to get from
one country to another.
She exudes class and elegance in every nook and cranny. From rich woods to lush red carpets and the marble of the Winter Garden to the plush velveteen seats of the Royal Theatre she is an amazing testament to the maritime heritage of Cunard.
