Princess at Southampton

So we see a lot of Princess itineraries put together specifically for the Southampton departures. This year seeing the Caribbean Princess mainly doing the British Isles giving customers the best chance to visit all over the UK and Ireland. The Caribbean Princess entered service in 2004 with a tonnage of 112,894, crew of 1200 and a guest capacity of 3080. She will only be doing the British Isles cruises up until September 2016 then she will be making her way across to Canada and new England before doing the Caribbean.

So typically she is not the biggest ship in the Princess fleet but she still manages to offer the best on-board with exceptional service being offered on-board. She still carries the signature “movie’s under the stars”, Neptune’s Pool and Reef along with all the fantastic eateries.

We have also seen the Emerald Princess based on Southampton departures doing a lot of Northern Europe including St Petersburg (Russia) along with the Canaries and Europe. The ship entered Princess service in 2007 and is slightly bigger in size (113,561 tonnes), crew of 1200 and guest capacity of 3080, so very similar.

Both ships offer great personal service at sea in regards to customer services, shore excursions, dining and just in general. Princess seem to have got it right with their customers and so many love to return to the Princess line. With having so much choice of accommodation from inside, outside obstructed, outside clear view, obstructed balconies, clear view balconies, mini suites and full suites this really does give the best options to our customers and with their fantastic lest minute deals customers are getting the best out of Princess.

I have not cruise with Princess yet but rest assured I am sure I will get to taste one of her sample cruises next year. Do you love Princess cruises?
